The Truth Is…The Carbon Manual’s Psychedelectronica Makes Its Move

The debut EP by The Carbon Manual is poised. Red Star Digital , Marty Thau ‘s new online venture, will release the six-track product soon. The EP will comprise three original tracks and three remixes, the latter featuring work by the renowned Brendon Moeller , Lola Dutronic ‘s Grammy-nominated Richard Citroen, and UK artist and DJ Zuul . In addition to their Red Star digital debut, “ The Truth Is …”, The Carbon Manual will release an eponymous deluxe limited edition vinyl album on famed underground imprint Equation Records , comprising the full debut set. Half hand-crafted, with unique features, this will the coffee table Carbon Manual, as snotty as it is lush. In the Beat tradition of Burroughs, Ginsberg and Kerouac , but with a new sensibility informed by artists such as Suicide and Leonard Cohen , The Carbon Manual ’s subtle ambient rock’n’roll bound by spellbinding speech and words is a new direction for poetry, post-punk and alternative music.
