GROOVES YOU JUST CAN’T GET OUT OF YOUR HEAD #478

Author:

One guitar riff I simply cannot get outta me bonce – that literally plagues me round the clock and probably in my sleep – is Zeppelin’s “The Ocean”. Far more than more obvious things like “Whole Lotta”, “Kashmir” (though the grinding “Lemon Song” comes close). Mystified me that the Beasties (get well, Adam!) took the first bit of the riff for “She’s Crafty” and not the far more riveting section that comes in with Plant’s vocal.
